Welcome Home Bobcats!
The Texas State Residence Hall Association is the student coordinating body and umbrella organization for all the individual Hall Councils. RHA provides a variety of services both to the hall councils and individual students. Composed of voting representatives from each hall council, RHA works closely with the Residence Life staff and residents of the halls in developing residence hall policies, programs, and services. This organization provides a voice for all residence hall students and is charged with addressing the concerns of all the residents and individual hall council associations in the university residence halls.
RHA is a member of the Southwest Association of College and University Residence Halls (SWACURH). One of the main purposes of RHA is to represent the views of the students to the Residence Life department, University administration, various University committees, and to the Associated Student Government (ASG). With the cooperation of each hall council, the activities provided help bring the residents and hall communities together. Both RHA and the individual hall councils work to improve the physical, social, cultural, recreational and intellectual atmospheres in the halls. Everyone who lives in a residence hall or campus apartment is a member of RHA and is encouraged and welcome to attend RHA meetings.
