  1. Advisor of the Year Award:Now is your chance to recognize your advisor for a job well done! (Submit only one essay. This can be, and should be, a group effort. Please type! Everyone should sign the essay.) Thoughts to Get You Started: How did they motivate the group this year? Were they supportive? Describe their leadership style. Describe their positive attitude.  Did they regularly attend events and meetings? Describe their availability and visibility in the hall.  How did they facilitate the development of the organization? Did you feel informed about campus events? In what ways did they exceed your expectations? What did you learn from them that you will utilize in the future?   Were they accepting of your ideas? How did their experience benefit the group? If there was a problem in the group, how was it handled? How did they help you learn from mistakes? How did they help you learn from successes? Did they help you set goals and stick to them? How? Why were they effective?

Good Luck.
